Why I Use English?

In Indonesia, my home country, english is not our first language, therefore when some friends visit  this weblog, they curious why I use english as it's language. Well, I have my own reason for tha

t :)

First, we are rarely use english in our daily conversation, unless if we work in a company that is a international joint venture and it should has lots of bule (that what we call for expatriate), so culture on using international language is there. Due to this fact and in-addition I'm a housewife mum who will have less interaction with other world, I need someway to keep and improve my english.

Secondly, I would like to have cyber friend from any other part of this world, therefore, I expect this to be read not just by Indonesian, and for sure I can't use my mother tongue language for this purpose.

Last but not the least, using english, allows us legally to utilize ad-sense, something that could help my hubby on earning some fund for our family :)

Windows Live Writer

This morning I was trying to iterate all software that installed on our laptop, it was Ayah's laptop actually, but since he got new one from his office show this laptop always stays at home, and here we go ... I use it to surf and do some Internet related activities on my free time :)

One of software that interest me is Windows Live Writer, it's part of Windows Liver Series, this light application is a big help for blogging. It allows us to populate all blog information into our workstation, as well as its style also and freely we may edit it, you may choose to have it edited online or offline. Once we finalized the blog we can publish it easily, thanks to its WSYWIG editor.

Lots of plug-in also available for us to enhanced our blogging experience.

For a housemum who don't have good literacy on computer and information technology, Windows Live Writer definitely would be a handy and helpful tool ;)

Facebook

Recently, there was news published about haram statement on overuse of Facebook. Frankly speaking, I don't see any reason that could be make as fundamental for this fatwa. Overuse is bad, I do agree with this, but not only for Facebook, all overuse of something are bad, and in other hand, if we use anything, again I said anything in proper manner, they would give us benefit on their use.
